Engaging in physical activity is essential for maintaining a healthy brain, with less inflammation and more nutrients. Choose one or more moderate or vigorous physical activities and do them at least 3 times a week. Consult your doctor or health professional to perform these activities as safely as possible. Remember to drink plenty of water after your physical activity.

Moderate physical activities

You can sweat and your heart beats a little harder, but not too much.

Brisk walk or a long walk around the neighborhood for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

Light aerobics classes (your heart beats but not too hard) for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

Lifting light weights (Maximum 5 kilograms). Lift light weights, bags with goods, bottles with sand, etc. Try standing up and sitting down from a chair. Aim for at least 10 repetitions per arm or limb.

Zumba classes or dance classes for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

Plant and take care of the garden for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Be careful not to fall or feel dizzy. Lifting plants, harvesting, or pruning distant leaves is excellent physical exercise and relaxation.
