Energy Smoothie of Nuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and cut into pieces
  • Almond butter, peanut butter, or any other butter, preferably low in calories
  • 2 tablespoons of oats
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup of almond milk (or your preferred milk)
  • A handful of walnuts
  • A handful of almonds
  • A handful of raisins (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  2. If you want the smoothie to be colder, add some ice cubes.
  3. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and homogeneous.
  4. If you prefer, you can add more milk if the smoothie is too thick.
  5. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if necessary.
  6. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
