BERRY AND SPINACH SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup of plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 taza Leche vegetal o de tu preferencia.
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh spinach, mixed frozen berries, chopped banana, Greek yogurt, and your chosen milk.
  2. If you’d like to sweeten the smoothie, add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
  3. Optionally, add a few ice cubes for a thicker and colder texture.
  4. Blend all the ingredients on high speed until smooth and homogeneous. If necessary, stop the blender and scrape the sides with a spatula to ensure everything is well mixed.
  5. Once the smoothie reaches the desired consistency, serve immediately in cold glasses.
  6. Enjoy this refreshing smoothie loaded with nutrients as a quick and healthy breakfast or as an energizing snack anytime during the day!
